The participant group at the end of an intense exploration in a 'Lead to Empower' program.
Using participant experiences and wisdom to create learning is the key to our success. In one such attempt we are getting small groups of participants to put together their thoughts on different aspects of problem solving and getting them to present them to the large group. This is very useful to understand what the participants already know and what can be worked on during the workshop. This presentation is often referred to as the workshop progresses.
Our problem solving workshops begin with participants identifying individual and group problems in small groups. This helps them experience and experiment with the tools directly on problems that matter to them. Moreover they leave the workshop with a solution to atleast one of their problems.
Participants making a newspaper tower - an experiential team activity. This is being used in our workshop on 'Planning & Organising'. This activity experientially introduces the need as well as the process for planning.
